One out of every six minutes spent online is on a social network

Nearly everyday I read a new impressive, often mind-boggling stat about the popularity of social media and its rapidly evolving integration into nearly every facet of our personal and business lives. Unfortunately I have failed to put all of these “social super stats” together into any kind of useful presentation to share. Fortunately,  I ran across a blog post today by Jeff Esposito on that compiled an excellent list of 30 recent social media metrics that make a statement about the future of social media and its place in business. In addition to a great collection of  stats that can be used to plead just about any case for the use of social media, is a great collection of social media resources/articles any social geek like myself will enjoy perusing.
